Planning Commission
The planning commission meets the 4th Monday of each month at 5:00pm. They only meet if there are agenda items. In order to be placed on the agenda for zoning requests or subdivision requests or any other item, contact Planning Commission by email or at (304) 530-6142 by the Wednesday before the meeting.
Comprehensive Plan
A Comprehensive Plan is a long-range policy document that guides future growth, development, and resource allocation in accordance with West Virginia State Code §8A-3. Key components include land use, housing, transportation, economic development, community facilities, environmental protection, and historic preservation. The Plan is required to be updated every 10 years to reflect the community's changing needs, priorities, and vision for the future.
